The 2024 IAC was held in Japan and hosted by CEMA

On the afternoon of Wednesday, May 22, 2024, the annual conference of the International Association of Committees (IAC), an international organization of construction machinery industry groups from major countries, was held.

The Conference, which had been held alternately in Europe and the United States, was held in Tokyo this time and hosted by CEMA.

Representatives of five overseas organizations came to Japan and took part in the Conference along with those of CEMA. They discussed ways of coordinating responses to environmental issues and decarbonization in the construction machinery industry, as well as measures to raise social awareness of construction machinery.

It was also decided that the Conference would be renamed "Global Alliance for Construction Equipment (G-ACE)”.

In the morning of the same day, the representatives participated in the opening ceremony of the CSPI exhibition held in Makuhari and performed a ribbon cutting ceremony.
