The Global Alliance for Construction Equipment (GACE), an international consortium of construction equipment industry associations from six major economies, announced a joint statement yesterday.
As GACE understands the importance of strengthening global responses to the threat of climate change as part of broader efforts to achieve sustainable development and eradicate poverty, this statement expresses GACE's commitment to proactively promoting decarbonization within the construction equipment industry and to actively engaging with national governments and international organizations.
This joint statement was initiated by Japan at the GACE annual conference held in 2024, and following deliberations at the 2025 GACE conference, it was officially adopted.
CEMA remains fully committed to working hand in hand with the global construction equipment industry to actively pursue decarbonization.
