CEMA announces the details of the Requests for Realization of Carbon Neutrality in Construction Equipment (Year 2025 Edition), the fifth such compilation since 2021.
This time, in light of policy developments, the areas have been reorganized into three areas: electric construction equipment, hydrogen fuel, and alternative (next-generation) fuels. In addition, a fourth area has been established, consisting of support for manufacturing and the creation of demand both domestically and internationally (as strongly requested by members). Priorities have also been indicated for each area.
On August 6, Chairman Yamamoto personally handed the request to Director-General Hideaki Ibuki of the Manufacturing Industries Bureau, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and called for the implementation of its proposals.
