CEMA attended GACE conference

On March 3, GACE (Global Alliance of Construction Equipment), an international gathering of construction equipment industry associations from various countries and regions, held its meeting in Las Vegas, US, with our association also in attendance.

During the meeting, participants exchanged views on U.S. tariff issues, shared updates on the MAC Protocol, and discussed the content of a new joint declaration. CEMA actively contributed to the discussions by proposing revisions to HS codes and presenting recent developments in Japan, including initiatives to raise public awareness through the establishment of “Construction Equipment Day” and related promotional events.

In addition, CEMA held separate bilateral discussions not only with AEM but also with representatives from Europe and Korea to further exchange views.

CEMA will continue to work closely with domestic and international organizations to support the development of the construction equipment industry.
